Editorial Policy

How warrants.asia writes, sources, and maintains its structured warrants education content.

Content creation process

Every guide in the Learn section and glossary is written by our editorial team to explain structured warrant mechanics in plain English, using worked numerical examples rather than jargon wherever possible. Bylines credit the warrants.asia Editorial Team rather than an individual — we do not attach invented author names or credentials to financial content.

Fact-checking

Mechanics described in our guides (settlement, expiry, board lots, account requirements) are cross-checked against Bursa Malaysia and HKEX product documentation and the term sheets of the issuers referenced (Macquarie, RHB, Kenanga, CGS). Worked examples use illustrative numbers, clearly framed as examples, not live quotes.

Where our data comes from

Warrant listings under /warrants, /markets, /underlyings, and /issuers are a periodically refreshed, hand-curated snapshot compiled from issuer term sheets and exchange listing documents.

A few pages carry a small hand-picked sample of real exchange data — the HKEX warrant and CBBC tables, and the expiry calendar. Each sample was captured once, is labelled with its capture date, and is never refreshed. They illustrate what a real warrant line looks like; they are not a screener and must not be read as current prices.

We run no live market data feeds. The site makes exactly one third-party request when a page loads — indicative foreign exchange rates for the currency converter, from ExchangeRate-API, attributed on that page. We hold no market data redistribution licence from any exchange, and no page here should be used as a trading feed.

Every listing links directly to the issuer or exchange's own screener as the authoritative, real-time source. See About for the full methodology.

Update policy

Each article carries a visible “Published” and, when applicable, “Updated” date. We only bump the updated date when a substantive change is made to the content — not for cosmetic edits. Warrant listing tables carry their own last-updated date, checked separately from editorial copy.
