Frequently asked questions
Are there structured warrant trading competitions in Malaysia?
Yes — issuers and brokers periodically run warrant trading competitions, usually alongside a promotion or a new product launch. They are announced with short notice and run for a fixed window, so any list of them goes stale quickly. Upcoming ones appear on this page while they are open.
Do I need trading experience to attend a warrant bootcamp?
Most sessions assume you can already place a trade through a broker account but not that you know how warrants are priced. If you have read our beginners guide and understand what a strike and an exercise ratio are, you will be able to follow.
Are these events free?
It varies. Issuer-run seminars are often free because they are marketing for the issuer's own warrants; structured multi-day bootcamps are usually paid. Pricing is on each event's own registration page, which we link to rather than reproduce.
Before you pay for a warrant course
Everything on this site is free and always will be. Work through the beginners guide and the risks article first — if the terminology in a course description already makes sense to you, you are paying for structure and contact time rather than for information. Note also that a seminar run by an issuer is marketing for that issuer's own warrants; that does not make it worthless, but it is worth knowing going in.
