CLSA's warrant business

CLSA Securities Malaysia Sdn Bhd is one of the licensed structured warrants issuers on Bursa Malaysia. Backed by CITIC Securities, CLSA brings pan-Asian capital markets expertise to its warrant issuance, listing call and put warrants across popular Malaysian blue-chip underlyings alongside the other Bursa-licensed issuers.

Types of CLSA warrants on Bursa

CLSA warrants on Bursa Malaysia typically cover call and put warrants over high-liquidity blue-chip single stocks such as Maybank, Public Bank, CIMB, and Tenaga Nasional, as well as index-linked warrants tied to the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI. Leveraging CLSA's pan-Asian research capabilities, CLSA structured warrants may occasionally reference cross-border underlyings where permitted. Expiry tenors generally range from three to nine months, and as with all Bursa structured warrants, CLSA warrants are European-style and cash-settled at maturity — investors receive any in-the-money value in cash rather than through physical share delivery.

Checking live CLSA warrant listings

The CLSA warrant tables on this site are periodically refreshed curated snapshots and should not be relied upon as live pricing data. For the most current strike price, expiry date, entitlement ratio, and indicative pricing on any CLSA warrants listing, visit the CLSA Malaysia portal linked above. To trade any structured warrant on Bursa Malaysia, you need a Central Depository System (CDS) trading account opened through a licensed stockbroker — the same account used for ordinary share trading. CLSA warrants trade in standard 100-unit board lots during Bursa's regular trading session and settle on a T+2 basis.
